The Mala Marathi revisits the meditation necklace, blending the codes of antique jewelry with Parisian fine jewelry. The central motif is delicately beaded, a reference to Hellenic jewelry. Adorned with colored enamel and set with semi-precious or precious stones, it defines the identity of this collection.
The emblem of MARATHI, the Mala collection revisits the meditation necklace by boldly mixing the codes of antique jewelry and Parisian jewelry. Its central motif is inspired by the architecture of Greek and Hindu temples, enhanced with micro beads of polished metal, typical of Hellenic jewelry. Adorned with colored enamel and set with semi-precious or precious stones, this motif is a hallmark of the refinement and identity of these necklaces. Another symbolic detail is the delicate sculpted metal drops that punctuate each model, echoing the legend of the tears shed by the god Shiva when he saw the misery in which humans lived... tears that gave birth to a sacred tree, the Rudraksha, whose seeds are still used in the making of traditional malas.
Available in wood combined with rhodium-plated sterling silver, sculpted, enameled, and pavé-set for an easy, casual look; in wood combined with vermeil for a more sunny look; and in ornamental stones combined with gold, enamel, and pavé-setting for a more precious and sophisticated style.
Available in three versions with different lengths and styles: a long necklace, model 108, with a neckline composed of 108 wooden or stone beads for a fluid look; mini mala, the Ananda model, which gracefully adorns the neckline; choker, the Eonia model, to be worn alone or layered, and coordinated with the Jaya bracelet, which features the same aesthetic.
